Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Today's review is on beautiful collection from Nabla. They came out with new addition to the Cutie Collection and I picked up the Wild Berry set. There where altogether 3 sets awailable. It contains Wild Berry Cutie Palette (8g), Cupid's Arrow Full Color Stylo in shade Arrow #3 (0.8g) and Lipstick in shade Wild Berry (3g).
First let's talk about the little palette, which comes in gorgeous cardboard packaging. Nabla always has the best packaging. The palette closes magnetically and inside there is a mirror and six eyeshadows: 3 mattes, 1 latex matte and 2 metal foil shades. It's sleek and makes a great travel palette. It has everything to create a beautiful eye looks.
This is the only cutie palette in my collection and altogether there is 5 palettes. Now I want to get them all to be honest. The shadows are pigmented and the quality is amazing. They all ways bring it. These blend like a dream and also work well with other powder shadows. Down below you can see all the shades swatched.
- Incense - is a medium tone apricot beige and has latex matte finish. It's the first time I come across this type of finish. It's bit powder shade and I do get fall off from it. It definitely has some kind of sheen to it. It's just weird finish.
- Venom - is a matte purple berry shade.
- Bucolic Baby - is a medium peach with strawberry highlights. It has metal foil finish.
- Alchemy 2.0 - is a duochrome flamingo and teal with metal foil finish. It's a gorgeous topper shade and gives a beautiful effect.
- Blackberry - is a deep blackberry with super matte finish.
- Botanic Juice - is a raspberry with super matte finish.
Let's talk about staying power. These shade lasted all day on me with out creasing or fading. I always use eyeshadow primer under every eye look. I'm really happy with the quality and all 6 shades worked well for me.
Next we have their Cupid Arrow Full Colour Stylo and the shade is Arrow #3. It's a beautiful rich blue raspberry shade and I love the outside packaging is the same color as the product itself It is a twist up pencil, which means no sharpening. It's perfect for travel, because I don't need to sharpen it. Most times I forget my pencil sharpener at home. They came out with 3 shades and these all go well with the different themes. If I forgot to mention the new release had 3 bundles with different themes.
This pencil is so creamy and glides on so beautifully. It can be used as a eyeshadow base, which I have been doing a lot. It makes doing eye looks so easy. I can also use it as an eyeliner.
You can see the swatch down below and it is pigmented stylo. I have been using it as a base for an eye looks. I apply it all over the lid and blend it out with a finger or a brush. I add from the Wild Berry palette shade Venom in the crease and apply one of the metallic foil shades all over the lid and something sparkly in the inner corner of the eye and some mascara and I'm ready. It makes doing smoky eye so easy. I'm obsessed!
It's so beautiful product and I'm so happy how easy it is to use. I really need to give a chance to my other cream pencils, which are bit chubby. It's so good addition in my collection.
Last item I have from the new Cutie Collection is the Glam Touch Lipstick and the shade is Wild Berry (3g). I love the packaging! The lipstick bullet is the same color as the lipstick itself. I really, really like it! There is altogether 3 shades in this formula.
I have come to expect more full of color lipsticks from Nabla. This gives a glossy finish, feels comfortable on lips, but it's not as pigmented as I wish it to be. I need to apply a lipliner under it, because it can move around and I don't want it to bleed out of the lip lines. Also the lip swatch on their page is so miss leading. In real life it's not as deep or full of color. You can see the swatch down below.
The staying power is not the longest because its a creamy lipstick. After having food it is completely gone. This lipstick is not winning any points from me. It is also scented, but I personally don't like it very much, so it's another stick against it. And yes I'm disappointed by this lipstick. Usually their lip products are some of my favorites.
Down below you can see these products in action. I had little technical issues when filming this, so I missed the beginning and the end. Hope you forgive me, because the look itself is beautiful.
Overall I do love this collection and I like their products are cruelty free and vegan. The palette is amazing as is the eye pencil. The lipstick I don't like and would not recommend. You can shop Nabla's latest collection here.
Have you tried Nabla before?
