Hi loves, welcome back! Hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Today's review is on gorgeous BYS Cosmetics Bloom Eyeshadow Palette (12.90€). I got it as a gift from BYS Cosmetics Estonia. I want to say huge thank you for this wonderful palette. They are Australian beauty brand and their products are cruelty free.
The inspiration for the palette has been taken from the cherry blossoms, which you can see from the packaging to the eyeshadows in it. It come in a lilac tin packaging and has cherry blossoms on it. It looks so beautiful and perfect for spring. It's one of my favorite packaging they have done so far and I have a lot of their palettes. Inside the palette there is a mirror, 2 applicators and 12 eyeshadows: 1 metallic cream, 3 shimmer powder shadows and 8 matte powder eyeshadows.
Their shadows are some of my favorite. They are affordable, come in a cute packaging and preform well. These are all pigmented eyeshadows and I didn't have any issues with any of the eyeshadows. These blend out beautifully and worked well with other shadows. I didn't get really any fall out with these shadows, which is another plus in my book. The formula also feels silky smooth to the touch.
Leet's talk about the staying power. These lasted on me all day without fading or creasing. I do apply eyeshadow primer under all the eye looks. I find it makes the colors pop and also makes everything look perfect till I take my makeup off.
Down below you can see all the 12 eyeshadows swatched. I do love the color story for spring. I can create beautiful day time looks and also evening looks, but they are going to be more rosy, because of the color story.
- Sakura - is a creamy matte, which is perfect to highlight the brow bone.
- Cherry Tree - is a matte light brown. Perfect to warm up the crease.
- Petals - is a matte light peachy pink. It would look beautiful all over the lid, if you go for all matte eye look.
- Starlight - is a pale shimmery champagne shade. Perfect to brighten up the inner corner of the eye.
- Blossom - is a light matte pink. It makes a beautiful transition shade.
- Plump - is a matte peachy shade. It could be used all over the lid as one shadow look or as transition shade in the crease.
- Elegance - is a beautiful shimmery dusty rose. I love using it all over the lid. It's gorgeous!
- Blushing - is a matte reddish brown. I use it mostly in the crease.
- Shine - is the metallic cream shadow. It reminds me a lot of Colourpop Super Shock Shadows. It's a beautiful rich fuchsia and I love wearing it all over the lid.
- Spring - is a bronze shade with metallic finish.
- Raw - is a matte medium tone warm brown shade.
- Russet - is a matte dark brown shade. Perfect shade to darken up any look.
I'm so impressed with the palette and I love the romantic color story. Their shadows work so well and their always impress me with their quality. Down below you can see the demo part of this review. I created a beautiful halo eye, hope you enjoy it :)
I'm so happy I have this palette and if it is a color story you like you can check it out here. I have bought their palettes many time myself with my own money. I truly love the brand and their products.
