Hi loves, I don't know about you, but I have been taking care of my skin a lot lately. It's all that staying home I have been doing. I have been testing out Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Skintreats. I have 6 products from the collection and it was sent to me. I want to say huge thank you to Pixi Beauty for sending these. I always enjoy their skincare :)
I got send the Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Cleanser (135ml), Hydrating Milky Peel (80ml), Hydrating Milky Makeup Remover (150ml), Milky Tonic (100ml), Hydrating Milky Serum (30ml) and Hydrating Milky Lotion Face & Body Moisturizer (135ml). I love that all the collection looks like it belongs together, but still goes with the branding and everything fits well with their other collections. I'll start reviewing the products as I would use them.
Let's start with the Hydrating Milky Makeup Remover and I use it to take off makeup left overs, if my cleansing oil doesn't take everything off. I like it comes with a pump, so there is no mess.
It has bi-phase formula, which effectively removes makeup and is hydrating. The formula contains willow bark extract, which gently tones the skin. Also contains coconut extract and probiotics, which provide added moisture and help to balance the skin. Cinnamon extract has anti inflammatory benefits and the oat extract provides hydration and also shoots the skin. The formula is also paraben free and they don't test on animals.
How to use: I shake it up really well, because it has bi-phase formula and you want it to mix up. Then I take a cotton pad and soak it up with the makeup remover. I gently remove my eye make with it. It removes it well and it doesn't irritate my eyes or dry the eye area out. It feels really hydrating.
I'm really happy with it and they way I use it, it will last me for a long time. I use it to remove the left over makeup my cleansing balm doesn't remove. I have used it couple of time just to remove my eye makeup and it takes off the eyeshadows fast, but mascara takes longer time to remover. I like to press it on (very lightly) and wait 10 seconds and then remove. That has worked best for me, but I do prefer makeup removing balm.
Next we have the Hydrating Milky Peel and it comes in a white tube and has rose gold lettering on ti. And the cap is Pixi Beauty traditional mint green.
It's a gentle micro peeling cream, which helps to remove dead skin cells, so the skin is brighter. The formula is enriched with natural cellulose. It's also with coconut extract, which nourishes the skin and probiotics, which provide balance to the skin. The formula is also includes arginine, encourages collagen and elastin production and it has antioxidant benefits. The formula also contains ingredients like willow bark extract and cinnamon extract and more. I also like it's paraben free and not tested on animals.
How to use: It can be used daily or as needed. First cleanse the skin with cleanser and then go in with this bad boy. I apply thin layer on dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip area. I let it sit on the skin 2-3 minutes. Then I gently massage the cream into the skin and after that I rinse it off with water. And they do say it's suitable for all skin types including dry and sensitive. I would keep in mind it does contain fragrance and it's known irritant.
I still had left their Peel & Polish, so I compared it with the Hydrating Milky Peel and I have to say I enjoy the Peel & Polish more. I love the cucumber scent it has and I see more results with it and I don't have to use it every day. I'll be using up the Milky one, but I wouldn't repurchase it.
Next we have the Hydrating Milky Cleanser, which comes in white plastic squeeze tube, has rose gold lettering like rest of the collection and mint green cap. It has noticeable scent to it, but I did spot fragrance in the ingredients list. This is hydrating cleanser, like the name says and can be used daily.
It's formulated with coconut extract, which provides nourishment to the skin and probiotics, which helps to balance the skin. Formula also contains willow bark extract and moisturizing jojoba esters and anti inflammatory cinnamon extract. It's also paraben free and not tested on animals.
How to use: I use it as my second cleanse after I have removed my makeup. I wet my face and take bit of the cleanser and it really foams up. It doesn't have a noticeable scent to it and it's a treat to use it. I try to wash my face with it one minute and then I wash it off with water. It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and hydrated. I don't like cleanser that give me the tight feeling on the skin. They do say it's suitable for all skin types including dry skin and beauties with sensitive skin type.
I do like this cleanser, but I love the Pixi Rose Cream cleanser more. If I have to pick one I would go with the rose one and I have repurchased it already. I just love it. It doesn't mean this is a bad one, it means I'm crazy about the rose cleanser ;)
I love Pixi Beauty tonics, so I was so excited to try out the Milky Tonic. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with mint green label. It's formulated with jojoba milk, which rehydrates and nourish the skin. The oat extracts provides soothing and hydration to the skin and the green tea has powerful antioxidant properties. It has alcohol free formula, doesn't contain parabens and fits all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin.
It has been my morning and evening tonic. I took a brake from the Glow Tonic and instead I use this one. I apply it on cleansed skin morning and evening with a cotton pad. It provides instant hydration to my skin and leaves it fresh and it also is soothing.
The formula is with glycerin, which traps moisture and gives the skin plumped effect. Also contains aloe vera, which calms and soothes the skin and Vitamin C and E nourish and heal the skin. Formula also contains jojoba oil moisturizes the skin and feels light. It fits all skin types, is paraben free and it's not tested on animals.
How to use: It has been my morning and evening serum. I apply it after I have cleansed the skin, used my tonic and also essence. I use 3 drops and gently massage it into the skin. It instantly provides hydration to the skin, plumps it and overall makes the skin feel amazing.
This and the tonic are my favorite products from this collection. I love how the serum feels on the skin and it sinks into the skin so fast and makes my skin feeling happy. I'm almost out of it, which means I need to pick it up another bottle after I have used up some of my other serums in my collection. I have been hoarding serums, so now I have too many at hand and I try to get the serum collection down. It's not a category I want to have at hand more, then 2 at a time.

Last item I'm going to talk about today is their Hydrating Milky Lotion Face & Body Moisturizer. It comes in a mint green squeeze tube packaging. It has a white label with rose gold lettering. This lotion is special, because it can be used both on face and body.
The lotion is contains deeply hydrating ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil and coconut seed extract. The formula also contains sweet almond oil and black oat extract. It's also paraben free and it's not tested on anmials.
How to use: It can be used daily as needed. I have been testing it out as face cream and also on my body. I apply it after I have cleansed the skin and I have applied my toner, essence and serum. Then I go in with the Hydrating Milky Lotion. I massage it gently into the skin and it feels light weight and sinks easily in. After that I would go in with a SPF (when its morning) or facial oil (when its evening). For my body it doesn't provide enough hydration. I need something more heavy. As a day time moisturizer its good. I also like to use it on my neck.
It's a beautiful light weight moisturizer for every day. For me it's good for mornings, because in the evenings I want something richer and with thicker formula like night mask.
I'm so happy I had a chance to try this collection. I definetly found some new products I like and will repurchase, like the tonic and the serum.
Have you tried anything from the Milky range?
