Hi loves, I'm happy to share with you some new vegan products in my collection. These are from brand Ecocera and were sent to me as PR to review. Thank you so much! All my thoughts about the products are 100% my own.
So I got sent their Hair Detox Dry Shampoo for Dark Hair (15g), Rice Loose Powder (15g) and Peru Bronzer (10g). The dry shampoo is available in 4 different formulas and the bronzer and the powder as well.
Let's start with the dry shampoo and their Hair Detox Dry Shampoo is for dark hair, which I like. There is no white cast, which is important for me (because I have dark hair). The dry shampoo come in a white plastic bottle and the product puffs out (it's not aerosol, which I like).
It can be taken to cabin when flying, so you can touch up you hair, if needed. It doesn't contain any aluminum, artificial dyes and is vegan. It's formulated with charcoal, which not only regulates the secretion of sebum, but binds impurities and toxins. It helps to block their absorption into the hair. I like it's not just dealing with the dirty hair, but also protects my hair against toxins.
The formula also contains L-arginine, which is an amino acid and it helps to accelerates keratin synthesis and stimulates hair growth. The added conditioner helps to give hair natural shine and smoothness.
How to use: Before using it shake well and apply to dry hair approximately 15 cm away. White a bit and then massage in and the comb the excess out.
I have been using it for a month now and it claims to last for 3 months, when you use it every day. I think for me it lasts longer, because I don't use it daily. It's a great eco friendly opption. It makes my hair clean and doesn't irritate my scalp. I have always problem with that and then I itch it like crazy. Nothing like that with this dry shampoo. It's a great opption, if you are like me and have sensitive scalp. At the moment it's discounted and you can get it for €14.77 and the original price is €16.77, so you'll save 2 euros. You can check it out here.
Let's move to the loose powder and their Rice Loose Powder comes in a clear plastic jar and has a white lid with the brands logo on it. Inside there is a shifter, so the products wouldn't come out. There was also applicator, but I tossed it. I like to use a brush more.
The powder is available in 4 different formulas and they have also press powders. I personally like loose powders, but I do have one compact powder with me when I'm on the go. I have oily skin, so I need to have powder on me at all times :D
The Ecocera Rise Loose Powder is formulated with rice starch, which has been used for centuries in skincare. It has also been known in Ayurvedic medicine as soothing formula to skin inflammation.
The powder itself feels silky smooth and there is slight sweet scent to it, which I smell only when I put my nose close to the powder. I don't notice the scent when I apply it though. I like to apply it with a powder brush and it leaves my skin smooth. It instantly gives me matte finish, but I do get oily through out the day. I don't think it's the powder, because I get oily. With all the powders I have tried and I get oily. And I can tell you, I have tried a lot of face powders.
I do like the powder and there is lot of it in it. I use it everyday and I like how it makes my skin look and feel. I like this powder because little goes a long way and it feels light on the skin. If you are interested in it you can get it here and there is discount on it as well. At the moment it's €19.95 (full price: €22.95).
The last I item I going to talk about today is the Ecocera Peru Bronzer (10g) and there is 4 different shades available. It comes in a clear plastic compact and I love I can see the shade of it. I also like the packaging is sleek (not as sleek as my suqqu blush), which makes it a great option for travel.
I'm happy to share this bronzer is made 100% natural ingredients. It really makes me happy when I see natural makeup products, which preform well. This bronzer has a matte finish and it's a warm tone bronzer. Because of that it mimics the look of natural tan. I love using it to warm up my complexion now that I'm so pale. I am going to Turkey for the holidays after Christmas. Hopefully I'll be getting bit of tan when I'm there, because I'm so pale at the moment.
I have to say this shade is bit too dark for me, so I need to use light hand. It blends into the skin easily and even on days when I have applied it with heavier hand it has been easy to blend it out.
On the left you can see the swatch of it and how pigmented it really is. And now you know why I need to use light hand when applying this bronzer.
Overall I'm very happy with this bronzer. It's easy to blend out, it lasts all day with out getting patchy and it gives me natural looking tan. Couldn't be more happy with it. And it's also discounted at the moment and it's € 15.95 (full price: € 17.95) and you can find it here.
Have you tried any Ecocera products?
