Hi loves! Today's post is on new Nabla collection. I picked up from the collection the 3 brushes: Foundation Buffer Brush (€13.50), Precision Powder Brush (€13.50) , Big Powder Brush (€14.50), Close-up Futuristic Foundation (€25.90) in shade L40 Light and the Close-up Smoothing Pressed Powder (€22.00) in shade Light. I didn't get the sponge though.
Lets start with the Close-up Futuristic Foundation (30ml). The foundation comes in 20 different shades. I picked for myself L40 Light, which is described to fit fair complexion with warm yellow under tones. This shade unfortunately is not perfect match for me and I have been mixing it with something to lighten it up. The under tones are perfect though. I think it will fit me perfectly once I have tan going on.
The formula is light weight and it blends into the skin seamlessly. It has more matte finish to it, which I like and it doesn't feel heavy on skin. It gives me medium coverage and I can build it up more if I want to. I usually I go for medium coverage and you concealer on place I need.
The stying powder of it is good. I do get through out the day oily, but that happens with all the foundations I have tried in my life. I don't loose any coverage through out the day and thats important. I can take care of the oiliness easily, but building up the coverage is just too much work.
Lets continue with the Close-up Smoothing Pressed Powder and I have the shade Light (11.5g). All together there is 3 shades available and I have the lightest one. I usually don't like pressed powder to set my foundation, but this works so well. It set everything and leaves my skin velvety smooth. It also feels so light weight on skin. It helps to minimize the look of pores and fine lies, because its formulate with soft focus ingredients.
This doesn't keep me matte as long as their loose powder from the same range. Its my favorite powder and I can see myself using only that one, but the pressed version is great to have on the go when I need to deal with oily skin. I like how light it feels on the skin.
We have only left to talk about the brushes and let's start with the Foundation Buffer Brush. This is so soft brush and its made of patented ultra soft synthetic bristles. Its more to the smaller size, but it makes buffing foundation into the skin easy and it doesn't leave behind any brush strokes.
The collection also contains Precision Powder Bush, which is ideal to set the under eye area and around the nose. I love its flat and tapered on the top. It also can be used to do contouring.
The last brush is the Big Powder Brush, which is ideal to powder rest of the face. It picks up just the right amount of products and its doesn't move around any of the foundation I have applied before.
I'm very happy with the collection. The brushes are absolutely beautiful and I want to see a full brush collection from them in the future. I love how soft these are and these haven't lost any hairs. I have been using these non stop since I got them.
The pressed powder is beautiful and perfect for touch ups. I adore the packaging. It looks absolutely gorgeous and perfect to have in my handbag. I love it has a mirror inside.
I do like the foundation. Its beautiful products and I see myself repurchasing it after I use it up and I'll get something lighter. Its just bit too dark for me.
If you are interested you can check everything out for yourself here. Their complexion products are gorgeous, highly recommend.

DeleteAlmost every foundation I have tried left me at least a little bit oily as the day proceeds too, and I agree: Taking care of shine is much easier than rebuilding coverage.
ReplyDeleteSame here! My oily skin just comes through :(
DeleteSounds like all the products are winners here. I don't think it's easy to buy this brand here in Canada though.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to order it off their webpage x
