Hi loves! Today's post is on a 29 by Lydia Mondavi Pressed Finishing Powder in shade PP03 (10g, $39.00). There is altogether 4 shades available and I got this powder in a beauty subscription box. It also has SPF12.
The powder comes in a dark gray compact and Has the logo of the brand on it. Inside there is the powder and a mirror. This powder is formulated with rose oil and packed with anti-aging artillery. The formula is also enriched with grape seed anti-oxidants. This powder claims to smooth, moisturize, protect and helps to even out the skin texture.
The powder feels silky to the touch and feels light weight on the skin. I have been using this as my touch up powder. I prefer loose powder to set my foundation, but through out the day I use pressed powder. I have oily skin type if you were wondering :)
If you have read my blog sometime you know I'm pale and the shade I'm wearing it 3rd shade and there is only 4 shade available. Its for medium skin tone and we all know that it isn't me. And next shade should fit the dark skin tone?! I think their shade range should be better. Thats so bad!
This does make my skin matte and smooths out any texture I might have. It doesn't keep me matte too long, so I do need to reapply it. I do have very oily T-zone though and thats where I do need to reapply it.
Overall I think its good powder. I didn't have any issues and I like there is some good ingredients in it. Would I buy it, I don't think so. First of all its sold in USA and I'm not even sure, if they ship it here (Netherlands) and if they do I need to pay duty taxes and its not exciting enough product for me to pay duty taxes. I'll link the product here, if you wanna check it out for yourself.
Which is your go to press powder?
Thank you for reading! xo's

Its beautiful powder x
DeleteI have the opposite skin type as you so I adore loose powder and never embraced compact other than Rimmel Stay Matte and the new Burt's Bees one.

Actually I love loose powders more, but for touch ups I need compact powder x
