Hi loves! Today I have for you Barnängen All Over Rescue Body Balm (200ml). I picked it up last winter and have been using it on and off.
The body cream comes in a plastic tub and has a beautiful white and blue packaging. The formula of it is thick and has a whipped feel to it. This body balm is infused with protecting cold cream. It acts as replenishing shield while absorbing quickly. This creams claims to hydrate, regenerate and restores skin softness.
Now I have used this cream on colder months and also on summer and the result is the same. It hydrates, but I need to use it morning and evening. If I don't do it I can feel how my skin is dehydrated. It feels good when applied, sinks into the skin fast and leaves it softly scented.
I would have hoped more from it to be honest. I do like the whipped texture and how it makes my skin feel, I just want it to last longer. I have body butters/lotions, which keep it hydrated longer. I don't think I would repurchase it. Even though it leaves skin soft and nice after application.
It might work better for someone who doesn't have dry skin. I do wanna mention it does contain parabens: Methylparaben and Ethylparaben.
Have you tried anything from the brand?
Thank you for reading! xo's
Lovely post as usual from you Laura! I really appreciate your honesty here - the whipped texture does sound lovely but, personally, I do have dry skin so the fact that it doesn't last as long makes it something I don't think I'd purchase. Wonderful post! x

Its definetly not for dry skin x
DeleteIf I have to apply it twice a day I'm out. I need a product that does the job after one application :)

Thank you :)
DeleteI've never tried it but I saw it couple times. Thanks for the honest review, I guess I won't buy it if it's not good for the dry skin.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome x
DeleteThis doesn't sounds good at all, I love body butters and my favourites are from The Body Shop.
