Hi loves! Today's post is on a luxury item and their products always have skincare benefits. I have been testing out Sisley Instant Perfect (20ml, 50 euros). I had deluxe sample of it and I liked it so much that I went and bought the full size.
The primer comes in a light pink squeeze tube packaging and it looks more like a skincare item then a makeup one. It promises to fill in and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Also claims to reduce the shine and pores. It even promises to smooth and fill long term wrinkles. It claims to help with skin texture and makes your skin velvety for the makeup to last longer. It also provides hydration to the skin.
The primer itself also looks light pink. It makes my skin feels so smooth. The primer sinks into the skin fast, takes away my shine and my skin still feels like skin. I feel some other primers feel more thick on the skin and the skin can't breath as well as with this primer (specially the ones targeted for pores).
I noticed when using it my makeup does apply better and everything blends into the skin fast. I would even go so far and say it doesn't let my foundation cake on me. I do get oily with it, because I have oily skin type. There is nothing stopping the oil except a lot of setting spray.
Down below you can see the before and after pictures. It definetly takes away the shine and I feel like my pores do look better, but its not as blurring as some of my other primers. I think because of that I don't get clogged pores. It also brightens my complexion up in a flattering way.
I'm very happy with this primer. It makes my skin look healthy on its own and whenever I use this primer, my foundation never looses the coverage even though the oily comes through. If you wanna check it out I'll link it here.
Which primer makes you skin look the best?
I only have experience with Smashbox primers, which I really enjoy. However, once I finish my current one I think I'm going to try to go primerless, as I've come to realize I don't think I really need one. We'll see how that goes, hah. I've heard Sisley comes out with amazing products, they're just so expensive!

I think it would agree with you ;)
DeleteI've heard Sisley makes really good products. I need more of a blurring aspect, but it does a great job taking away shine.
