Hi loves! Today I have something amazing for you :) I got sent Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask (90ml, $27) and it lunched on September 22. If you have read my blog, you already know how much I adore the brand and have bought their products myself as well. You can read a post on my favorite Klairs products here.
The mask comes in a jar and I don't mind it so much, because the product itself is very thick (like jelly) and I can't imagine the packaging to be anything else. It comes with a little spoon, which I can use to scoop out the product.
This mask promises to brighten the skin and when used turing the day it also protects against sunlight and prevents skin damage. It firms the skin and provides hydration. Its also suitable for all skin types and I have oily skin.
Key ingredients:
- Vitamin E - its known antioxidant and it prevents skin aging by keeping the cell membrane from lipid peroxidation. It also softens the skin and shoots inflammation. Also protection against damage from sunlight.
- Niacinamide - it prevents melanin pigment from migrating to the epidermis, improves acne cause by oily skin and suppresses sebum secretion. Helps stabilize vitamin C. Its formulated with an adequate concentration of 2%, as it may induce burning when used at high concentration.
- Adenosine - Promotes collagen synthesis and improves acne, cause by oily skin.
I used it as a night mask and I apply it after serum. I apply a generous amount and it is more sticky, because of the vitamin E. Its not sticky when I use less and it does sink into the skin fast. The jelly formula melts when it contacts with the skin and gets absorbed fast. I just like the results I get when using bit more. My skin feels in the morning so much softer and I notice how much brighter it is (I noticed it after first use). Also my skin is firmer after using it and also plumper.
It can be used also mixed together with a cream or into a serum. So far I have not tried it that way, but I might start, just to see how my skin likes it. It also can be used just as a moisturizer.
