Hi loves! Today's post is on L'Oreal La Palette Nude in Beige (7g) and I have had it for sometime, but I didn't use it till now. If you have read my blog sometime you know how obsessed I am with nude shades and its the reason why I picked it up.
The quality of the packaging is really good. Its sleek and contains little mirror, double ended brush and 10 eyeshadows (5 mattes and 5 shimmery shadows). It reminds be bit of YSL palette, which looks similar.
This palette looks perfect every day basic palette and the price tag is lower then the highend palettes. Its around 16 euros, which I find reasonable. This is the point where everything started to go down. I find the shadows to be powdery and the pigmentation is not as strong as I'm have experienced with other palettes I own.
When swatched these look beautiful, but on eyes its like muted. I find all the looks I did kind of similar and the shadows don't stand out and loose the vivid look when blending. Here is one of the looks I did with this palette.
These stayed on with out fading or creasing all day and I always use an eye shadow primer under any shadow look I do. These also didn't irritated my.
Overall its a okay palette for someone who starts out and is on budget. I didn't have any issue to blend out the matted shades. I find the shimmers bit lacking the vivd color and sparkle. It has great selection of crease colors, I just need something more intense on the lid then these shimmery shadows in this palette.
If you are in Belgium or Netherlands you can find it here.
Which is your favorite drugstore brand and I should try?
I've never seen this palette before but it looks like a good drugstore option!

Effortlessly Sophisticated
For me it reminds me the YSL palettes which came out few year ago x
DeleteI've seen these palettes but I haven't picked it up. I feel like it's pricey for drugstore and I would rather purchase an affordable brand online for a similar price. I'm also a neutral lover, and it doesn't matter how many neutral palettes I have, I want another one. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeletehaha I know the feeling :D
DeleteI feel this is the case with alot of drugstore palettes which is why I skip on them. The swatches look beautiful so it stinks they did perform well. I hear the e.l.f. Cosmetics Mad for Matte 2 palette is really good!
ReplyDeleteI have heard great things about elf, but I haven't tried it the longest time x
DeleteI definitely agree with you about the powderiness - I have this but in the rose shade and the shades themselves are stunning, but the consistency isn't amazing! xx beautiful look though!
