Hi loves! I have been playing Freedom Pro Artist Pad Black Arts Eyeshadow Palette (40g, $13.48). It contains 48 shadows (mattes and shimmers) and has a little mirror in it as well. The palette itself is made with plastic, but the quality feels good for the price point. I like its sleek and there is no wasted space.
The formula of the shadows feels buttery to the touch, but the pigmentation is hit and miss in this palette. I have created gorgeous looks with it, but it can take time to build the pigmentation up. Overall its okay and everything blends out well. I didn't experience any fall out with these and with an eye shadow primer these lasted on me all day without creasing.
The 1st row shadows are not having almost any pigmentation (and these are finger swatches), except the first one, which is matte cream white and I use it to highlight
the brow bone. Other then that its so disappointing row of shadows.
2nd row is better with the pigmentation and I really do like the shadows in it, specially the last one. It contains 2 matte shades and their both in the beginning.
The 3rd row has some cute shadows, but the 2 mattes in it are poor with pigment. Others are beautiful though ;)
Shadows on the 4th row are all pigmented. It contains 3 mattes and all are fantastic (look at that black!) and so are the shimmery shades.
The 5th row is also beautiful, except for the last shadow, which is poor with pigment. In the pan its blue with silver glitter in it (not my cup of tea). This row contains 2 mattes and the quality of both is good :)
The last row (6th row) is my favorite! It contains all shimmery shadows and I love how rich and metallic they look. The last shadow though is not like others. Its another glitter shadow, black with silver glitter in it.
Ingredients:Mica, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Paraffinum Liquidum, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica, Polybutene, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, (+/-): CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 15850, CI 77742, CI 77510, CI 77007, CI 77288
All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database(low hazard, medium hazard, high hazard).
It does contain some bad ingredients, but I can't complain about it, because of the prize point. Also it hasn't irritated my eyes in any way.
Overall I think its okay palette. There is hits and misses in the palette, but you can make it work. Its great for anyone who is on budget and loves nudes, because it contains a lot product, you can make it work and some of the shadows are stunning. I did couple of looks with it, which you can see on my instagram here and here. I'm really happy how they came out and I try to film a video with it tomorrow, if I don't experience any problems with the camera.
If you are interested you can find the palette on their page here and I do think they ship worldwide.
Whats your thoughts on this palette?
I have this palette and also thought it was hit or miss. I should get it out and try it again. Http://www.mrsqbeauty.com

They have great products for the price point x
DeleteThis is the main reason why I dislike large palettes such as this, most of the time the quality is hit and miss.

I have never heard of this brand. I feel that there are always hits and misses with palettes that have THIS many colors. I do like the looks that you created with it and some of the colors are really nice.
ReplyDeleteIts under the same umbrella as Makeup Revolution x
