Hi loves! I have oily skin type and I'm always looking a new powder to keep me matte and shine free. I have been testing out Catrice Fixing & Mattifying Nude Illusion Loose Powder (11g) and its translucent.
The powder comes in a jar and has a sifter in it, so all the product doesn't come out. The powder itself feels super fine and light weight on skin. I liked it from the fist use and it made my skin instantly matte. Leaves my skin velvety and silky soft. Their products are not tested on animals, its vegan, fit all skin types and tones.
I also noticed my makeup stayed matte longer and through out the day I did get as oily as usually. The formula of it claims to be not drying, so maybe its the reason why my skin doesn't get as oily through out the day.
I'm so happy I ended up picking it. Its a great affordable powder and if I'm completely honest I like it more then my Chanel loose powder.
Do you like loose powder to set your makeup or pressed?
This is good to know! Sometimes my face can look oily after makeup!

I love how it makes my skin feel x
DeleteI am currently testing another Catrice powder, but a compact one, that does not impress me as much. I will look for this one next.

I don't like compact powders at all for setting my makeup. I'm all about the loose powder :)
DeleteI refuse to pay a high price for powder, I just don't think it's worth it. Maybe one day i'll be convinces otherwise. Glad you found something that works for you. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeleteI have only one highend powder and I like this one more then the expensive one x
DeleteI definitely prefer loose powder. I'll have to let my blog buddy know about this. She loves Catrice products and she has oily skin as well.

its surprisingly good and I have had some misses from the brand, so its good to find something good for a change :)
DeleteI alternate between loose and pressed powder to set my makeup. I also have oily skin but I usually use NYC loose powder. I have never used Catrice products before but I have heard a lot of bloggers talk about the brand. This seems like it is a good affordable option to add to my list because I haven't found the perfect one yet.
