Hi loves! Today I have a review on fun and colorful palette from Kat Von D and its her Pastel Goth Palette (8x1.7g, 39 EUR). I picked up mine from Sephora France, but its sold out at the moment. If you really want it, you can find it on Amazon, but its bit over priced there (link).
The palette comes in cardboard packaging and closes magnetically. The packaging is sleek and easy to store. Inside is a nice size mirror and 8 matte eyeshadows. I love how unique the shades are and it makes me step outside my comfort zone.
The formula of the shadows feel smooth and silky to the touch. I haven't experience any fall out with these shadows and these lasted on me all day with out fading or creasing. The shadows are pigmented, but bit powdery, its not too much though (you can see how intense these are on the swatches below). These work well together and is easy to blend out. These also work well with other eyeshadows.
I feel the cooler tone shadows are more pigmented and vivid, specially the blue shade Doom. I had hard time with the purple shade Dope. Its gorgeous, but its not as pigmented as others and doesn't want to apply as evenly. Other then that I don't have any complains about the palette.
I'm happy I ended up getting it and I do recommend it, if you are stuck with nudes like I was and want to step out of your comfort zone and try something more colorful. I love the matte finish and feel it makes it more wearable, at least for me.
What do you think of this palette?
Nice color palette.
