Hi loves! Today's post is on ISKIN Lipaddict Voluptuous Lip Plumper (7ml, $49) and I have shade 207 Innocence. All together there is 12 shades available (link).
It comes in a clear tube and has a standard doe foot applicator. I got it in one of the Style Tone boxes. I don't think I would have spent this much money on a gloss myself. It does have great benefits. It contains powerful any-aging ingredients like patented peptides and dehydrated marine collagen. These help cell turnover and also increase collagen level and it helps to reduce fine line and wrinkles. It also makes lips look bigger. Its not making a huge difference, but big enough for my husband to notice ;)
The gloss smells and feels minty, which I don't mind. I do like the minty feel on lips and also the smell, its so refreshing.
The shade I have is sheer pink and looks natural on lips. I usually take this gloss out when I wear few makeup and want just glossy lip. It keeps my lips hydrated and keep them in good condition, also its plumping. I was traveling this week a lot and it was the mani lip product I used. Its so fuss free to use!
The staying power of it is what I would expect from lip gloss. When I did have food it would disappear and I need to reapply the product. With drinks it was fading off, but there still was some left behind.
I'm not sure I would buy it myself. Its a good product, but I just don't want to pay $49 for it. If it would be below $30 or bit over it I might, but I think $49 is just too much for it.
Have you tried this gloss before?
I agree the price seems a bit high! Sounds like a nice idea though. Thanks for the honest review!

Your welcome :)
DeleteNoo I haven't tried this one, but I think I wouldn't spend 49$ on it as well. BTW the mint is for the plumping effect :) the tingling feeling that peppermint produces draws blood to the lips and that's why they look bigger. :) I personally don't like it, but I really don't need plumping my lips either. ;)

It does sound to be a pricey one but yes the anti-aging properties do make it a good product though!
