Hi loves! Today I have for you Smashbox Master Class Palette: Lighting Theory (79 EUR).
The packaging of this palette is gorgeous! It reminds me of a book, you can open it up, and on one side are the cream products and other side has powders. I like both sides are covered with plastic lid, which protects the products.
The side of the creams contains concealers, highlighters, something for contouring and bronzing.
On the left you can see the top row of the creams and its the concealers. As you can see all 4 are pigmented and these blend out easily and cover up everything.
Lavender - is to conceal dullness, sallowness and yellow undertones.
Green - is to concealer redness. Can be used on blemishes, sunburn, blotchiness and rosacea.
Peach - is to conceal dark circles and hyper-pigmentation, like dark spots and discoloration. This fits for fair to medium skin tone
Orange - is to conceal also dark circles and hyper-pigmentation, but this is for medium to dark skin tone.

I have been using mostly the green and peach concealer. These work like wonders to cover up all the imperfections I might have and leaving my complexion perfect.
Next row contains contour, bronzer and highlight. These are also pigmented and is easy to blend out. I specially like the bronzer here, its perfect for my skin tone.
Contour - is bit too dark for me and I feel it leaves me muddy, so its not perfect shade for fair skin beauties.
Bronzer - is perfect to warm up the complexion and I feel its not too much for my pale skin tone.
Highlight - is not perfect for highlighting for me, because its more my skin tone shade. I would prefer something lighter for highlighting.
The last row on the creams is the highlighters and these are gorgeous! Its my favorite row :D These are all pigmented and so creamy, which makes these easy to blend out. And these fit my skin tone perfectly.
Luminous Pink - is the most used cream highlighter. It gives gorgeous glow to the cheek bones.
Luminous Gold - is more golden highlight and again its just stunning <3
Luminous Peach - is more warmer highlight, but as beautiful as other two. I'm so taken with these cream highlighters :)
Its time to move to the powders and this palette contains 3 powder blushes: two mattes and one more to the shimmery side. Also contains 16 eyeshadows: 7 mattes and 9 shimmery shades.
Above you can see the first row of the shadows, which are all matte and so buttery to the touch. I love the formula of all the shadows, some more then other. The top row contains gorgeous matte shades, which are perfect basics.
Sand - is perfect cream shade to highlight brow bone. I love to use matte shadows there.
Totally Nude - is warm nude shade, which I have been using to warm up the crease.
Nectar - is stunning to use all over the lid, if I go for all matte eye look.
Almond - its warm light brown and I like to use it in the crease.
Below you can see the next row, which contains some of my most used shades in this palette. I find this row just gorgeous. The shimmery shades are specially beautiful.
Truffle - is cool tone gray with matte finish.
Light Wave - is beautiful bronzy shade, which reflects so much light. It is perfect to darken up the outer part of the eye or just wear it all over the lid.
Sunrise - beautiful shimmery golden shade, totally obsessed with this.
Sunlight - is another shadow I'm totally obsessed with it. Its shimmery bronzy rosy shade, which looks gorgeous all over the lid.
On the picture above you can see the third row, which contains shimmery metallic shades. These are all really pretty and I love the metallic finish.
Optics - is shimmery darker bronze shade, which looks more to the brown side.
Metallic Violet - is a beautiful metallic purple.
Metallic Bronze - is gorgeous. Like the name says its bronze shadow and look beautiful all over the lid.
Metallic Brick - is my favorite from this row. I love the metallic red shade.
The fourth row contains 3 mattes and one shimmery, which you can see swatched down below. The matte shadows in this row are not as pigmented and smooth then the other matte shadows in this palette.
Nocturnal - is deeper blue shade and has matte finish.
Blackout - is matte black and I wish it would be more even. It can be built up and I have been using it to do my liner and it works well and looks black, but I do wet my brush.
Sumatra - is darker matte brown, which is more even then the black shadow. I use it do darken up the outer V and also the crease.
Backlit - is shimmery darker bronze with hint of burgundy to it. Its pigmented and would be perfect for smoky eye.
The last row in the palette contains the blushes, which are all beautiful, long lasting and pigmented. Two of the blushes are matte and the middle shade, which you can see on picture above is shimmery and glowy.
Candlelight - is matte pink shade, which would fit many skin tones. It just looks beautiful!
Carnation - is lighter pink with golden shimmer to it, which looks pretty on cheeks. I love the glow it gives and I feel I can skip highlighter when I ware it. It also can be used on top of matte blushes to give the beautiful glow.
Spectrum - is in perfect shade for fall/winter. Its deeper shade with matte finish.
Down below you can see the look I created using this palette. Hope you guys like it :)
I'm so happy I got this palette! It contains so many different products, which makes it perfect to take with me when traveling. Its bit bulky, but I can handle it, because I don't have to take so many other items with me. Everything feels really nice and these all have lasted on me all day. The shadows didn't crease on me and I always do wear a primer under any of my eye look. I'm really impressed and Smashbox did amazing job with it :)
If you are interested its available on Sephora France (link).
