Hi loves! I love trying out beauty products and like to test out cheaper and more luxury products. I have been testing out Oriflame Eleo hair range, which is more pricier then their other hair care items. The formula is infused with Argan and Rose oils and also with vitamin F. The range claims to strengthen and protect the hair, and also smoothens and restores hairs natural shine.
I picked up from the range Shampoo (200 ml, 16 EUR), Conditioner (150 ml, 16 EUR) and Hair Mask (125 ml, 24 EUR). These fit all hair types and I have dry hair. I picked this range up because the formula has argan oil in it and my hair always loves everything with argan oil.
The 3 items I picked up have all very fragranced scent to them, which is not something I personally like. I would prefer something more lighter. The range has hair oils as well, which I didn't pick up, because of the price.
The shampoo and conditioner both come in squeeze tube, which is easy to use when taking shower. This range didn't irritate my scalp, which surprised me, because how heavily fragranced the range is. The shampoo cleans my hair well, I can't say, it doesn't do what it should, but the conditioner is not making my hair as soft as I would like. I really don't feel these give my hare any softness or make it smooth. I feel my Garnier Fructis Thick & Gorgeous hair range (review) was better to my hair and the price was way better.
Usually when I use hair masks I end up with softer and smooth hair, but not with this one. It made my hair softer, but like conditioner would do. I didn't feel like my hair was nourished at all, which I expect a hair mask with argan oil to do.
I applied the mask to towel dry hair and kept it on for 5 minutes and then rinsed it. Like I said before my hair wasn't as soft as I expected. It was as soft as a conditioner would make it.
As you can see I'm not happy with this range. I had so high hope for it and it didn't live up to my expectations. There is way better choices in the drugstore with less money.
Which is most disappointing hair product you have used?
Thanks for reading! xo's

Oh my thank you for this honest review of this shampoo/conditioner by this brand! I think one of the worst is Beaver Professionals which I have heard in the past not very good reviews by other bloggers but its not until AFTER I experienced this haircare for myself for honest try that my hair did not feel anything but salon quality and my Loreal shampoo/conditioner does a better job on my dry, relaxed hair!

Hmmm the mask doesnt sound very good at all which is a shame as it does look like a great product x
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame you were disappointed! At least you've not fallen in love with a ridiculously pricey product, though...
