Hi loves! I want to say I'm sorry I haven't posted lately, but I moved house and we don't have internet in the new place yet. Today I want to share a review on Chica Y Chico Matt Cushion and I have it in shade 21 (15 g, $29.30).
It comes in a black compact, which has a matte finish. Inside is a mirror and a applicator to apply the product. It has SPF 35 and PA++, and it also has wrinkle care, brightens and sebum control. It also claims to last all day long and keep the skin matte.
It comes in 2 shades only, which is sad :( The shade I have (21) is a perfect mach for me and its the lighter one.
It blends so easily to skin, I would go so far to say it melts into it and has amazing coverage. It hides all my pores and other imperfections. Another thing I like about this foundation is that it doesn't dry out my skin. With some matte foundations I have noticed my skin feels dehydrated, specially on my forehead (but not with this one).
If you have read my blog before you already know I have oily skin, so not many last on me long. This one when applied has a matte finish, but I do powder my face, because otherwise I'll get oily really fast (I did try it with out powder and I was oily with in few hours). It didn't keep me matte all day (4-5 hours only), but the coverage lasted on me all day and it never got cakey on me.
It didn't keep me matte all day like it claims (maybe for someone who is not as oily it will work better). This is the only bad side for me about this product. Things I like are the coverage, lasting power and how effortlessly it blends into the skin. It also didn't irritate my skin or broke me out.
If you have more combo skin I think it would be perfect. It has other sides I like so much, so I can forgive it doesn't keep me matte all day. If you are interested you can check it out here.
Do you like cushion foundations?

Oooh! Thanks for the review! I was actually wondering if this was too matte for my skin. I guess it's not :)

Too bad that it didn't last that long on you but it does sound like a nice product.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like a nice product even if it didnt last as long as you had hoped x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fab, we have quite a similar skin type so it should suit me quite well I think! :)

Thanks for your review!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to purchase this, and the oil control is not that long.
But 4-5 hours is still good for me, since usually my face gets oily already in 2 hours
Mind to follow me back?
