Hi loves! Too Faced Christmas collections always look adorable and this year its no different. I got their Le Grand Palais palette ($58).
The packaging is gorgeous, with this palette and you do get 3 deluxe samples as well, Better Than Sex mascara, Shadow Insurance and Melted liquid lipstick in Melted Peony. The value of this set is $378.
The shadows in this palette are hit and misses, but I feel like I can make them work for me, it just takes bit of work. Some of the shadows have butter texture and are more pigmented, others not so much. With some of them I did experience a lot of fall out.
The palette comes also with 4 face products. 2 blushes, highlighter and a bronze. I find these all work wonderfully and have a good quality.
Top row in the palette
- White Christmas - is a white matte shadow, which is always useful to have :)
- Satin Sheet - is a light pinkish golden shadow, which is perfect to add to the inner corner of the eye
- Vintage lace - is a cream matte shade, which is another great highlighting shade to have
Second row in the palette
- Delightful - is very light pink shade with beautiful sheen to it
- Moon on Their Wings - this is beautiful shimmery gold shade with lot of glitter to it. There might be fall out, but I still love this shade ;)
- Cobblestones - is a matte light brow. It has lovely texture and grate pigmentation
- City Lights - is one of the smoothest shadows in the palette. Its orange brown shade with very fine golden glitter to it
- Dreamlight - is gorgeous deep bronze shade with lovely shimmer to it and the texture and the pigmentation are amazing <3
Third row in the palette
- String of Light - is a very light blue shade with glitter in it. Its not very pigmented
- Yule Log - is a dark brownish bronze shade with golden glitter in it.
- Wish List - is a shimmery golden shade and the texture of it is so buttery and its also very pigmented <3
- Arc De Triomphe - is shimmery dusty pink shade and one of my favorites from the palette
- Belle Femme - is a a matte dark brown
Fourth row in the palette
- Stiletto - is a matte black shadow
- Eiffel - is a dark silvery shade with lot if glitter in it. Its perfect shade to make smokey eye with, but I did get a lot of fall out. I still love it though :)
- Midnight Paris - is glittery blue shade, but its not very pigmented. It does work well when you apply it on top of another shadow
- Champs Elysees - is a a darker shade with lot of purple glitter in it
- Part Dress - is a beautiful bright pink shade :)
Last row in the palette
- Stardust - is a more coral blush with matte finish
- Skyline - is a pink blush with bit of sheen to it
- Flush - is a beautiful highlighter, which is not too shimmery <3
- Sun Bunny - is a shimmery bronzer, which is too shimmery for me
Overall I like this palette, but there are some shadows I do need to work harder then others. I'm still happy I got it, because I love the brand and I like to collect their Christmas collections.

This looks like such a fun palette to have, I am a huge fan of Too Faced x
ReplyDeleteYup heard from Tati and Emily - Youtube, that the "main" palette had quite a few misses compared to the "travel" palette included in the kit.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of Satin Sheets and Wish List! What a shame all the shades aren't up to standard - you'd expect more from a brand like Too Faced!
