Hi loves! Hope you have had lovely week so far and are ready for the weekend :) Do you guys have any plans? I think I'll be staying in most of the weekend, maybe I'll go watch a movie or something.
Anyway today I have something for beauties who fight with acne. I do get sometimes breakouts, but not as much. This doesn't stop me for looking a product, which will keep my skin acne free all the time. So I ended up getting Enca AC Control Balancing Toner (140 ml, $20.99). AC stands for acne control. Its my second bottle and I have less then have left.
The toner comes in a clear plastic bottle and has a pump. It makes suing it so much easier, I love product which come with a pump.
The toner is targeted more to acne prone skin, but it has worked well for me too and I don't have acne prone skin. I'm just oily.
The toner claims to fight against acne causing bacteria, closes enlarge pores, reduces oil production and redness and also irritation on the skin.
It contains ingredients like citric acid and salicylic acid, which help to fight the source of the breakout and help the healing posses. It also contains 74% plant extracts.
I use it in the mornings and evenings. I apply 3 pumps on a cotton pad and apply it all over the face. I'm not getting anymore deep pimples, which are very painful. I also noticed the pimples healed faster. Overall my skin appearance looks much clearer.
I took sometime for my skin to get use to the toner. After using up one bottle I wasn't that impressed, but I wanted to see if I use it longer will I get the result I want and I did. I'm happy I decided to get the second bottle and I'll keep using it. Even though it contains alcohol it hasn't irritated my skin or dried it up. It also contains one paraben, but it doesn't have the highest hazard level then some other. Methylparaben has a moderate hazard level according to EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetic database (link).
It has been wonderful for my skin, even though it took some time to give me the results I wanted. I do want to say I'll keep using, but I can't help myself not to try out new toners :D Most probably I'll buy it again.
If you are interested in this Enca toner you can find it here.

ReplyDeletethis sounds fab, i dont have acne but glad to see it works well for you
ReplyDeleteLove the way you reviewed it. I have been using Nivea Toner for years now and have never thought of switching to other brands. We do not get this brand here, but might just try something similar.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear it worked after longer use! So many times we tend to want instant gratification that we dont give the time it really takes for products to do their job! Great review!
ReplyDeleteI'm not into toners but it looks nice product :D
