Hi loves! Hope you all have had a wonderful Saturday! Today I'm sharing with you, my thoughts on Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in shade Light to Medium (54.95 EUR, 6 x 3 g).
The palette contains 6 powders, 3 highlighters and 3 sculpting powders. The packaging of the palette is black and sleek and closes magnetically, which makes it perfect for traveling. Also I like that I can replace the powders, if I ran out one shade and don't have to buy a new palette.
This is the firs item I picked up from the brand and I'm liking it so far. The powders are silky smooth to the touch and the color pay off is good.
The shade selection for my skin color is perfect. I can choose from different highlighters and also I can use the warmer tone sculpting powders as my bronzer. I love there are shimmery and matte highlighters. I use the middle shade from the top row to set my concealer under the eye area. On the cheek bones I go for the shimmery, which is the last shade from the top row.
For contouring I usually use the middle shade and it looks very natural when blended out. I feel with the sculpting powders I need to work bit more, then with the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder.
As you can see overall I'm really happy I got this palette. For me the huge plus is I can change the powders when something is over and also the powders themselves have good quality. I also like its cruelty free :)

Have you tried this palette already?

This does look like a beautiful palette and I love that you can replace the shades individually as you need! I don't think it's something I'd buy myself though as I don't tend to use bronzers.

I love the look of this palette, I've lusted after it for a while now. Definitely think it'll be the one that I pick up when I'm done with the contour powders that I already have in my collection xxx
ReplyDeleteI just picked this one up on net a porter and I love it!!! I find the darker powders are a bit warm to use as contour but love the variety :)
ReplyDeleteOh hey! I didn't know they were cruelty-free! That's great news!!! :)
