Hi beauties! On summer I love a good BB cream and Pupa Professionals BB Cream + Primer (50 ml) got my eye. I like that the formula of it is oil free and it has SPF 20, so I get some protection when using it. I got a shade 1 Nude and unfortunately its not a match. Its bit too dark for me. Now I need to work on my tan to get it to match me.
The BB cream comes in a squeeze tube and it has a twist off cap, which I don't personally like. One good thing about the packaging is that you can squeeze out as much product as you need.
The formula of it has a light texture to it and it blends out easily. At first it feels bit sticky, but it pasts fast and leaves a silky feel to the skin. I have oily skin and on me it doesn't look matte, so I definitely need to set it with a powder to get a matte finish.
The coverage of it is light. It evens out the skin tone, but your skin looks like skin, which I do like on spring and summer.
The staying on power of it surprised me. I did need to powder my face to be matte, but the light coverage it offered stayed through out the day. That really surprised me and really made me like this BB cream.
I cant see myself use it as a primer. It would feel too much for my skin to add another product on top of it. I guess you can say I'm happy with the end result ;)
Over all its a great BB cream. If you are bit darker then me you might match better. I wish they would have lighter shades available, but I'll make it work :) I'm not sure I would pick up any of their other BB crams/foundations in the future just because I most probably wont find a match.
Have you tried any Pupa BB crams or foundations before?
Thanks for reading! :)
This sounds like an interesting BB cream. I always find it so hard to find a bb cream to match my skin tone. I really wish they would make a variety of shades.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good but it definitely looks a little too heavy as a primer. Never heard of this brand before either! x
ReplyDeleteI've never tried any PUPA products but I just got some in a swap so I 'm so excited! Glad you're enjoying the BB cream. I'm hoping one day to be able to browse the brand myself. :-)

This sounded so promising, what a shame about the colour match and lack of matte finish!!
