Hi loves! I have never tried before anything from Vera Wang and I was exited to try Simply Vera Transforming Shadow Duo in shade 411 (2 g).
It comes in stylish black compact and in it you have a mirror and 2 shadows, which look like something I would like. I love purple plumy shades :)
To the touch the shadows feel nice, but the darker shade is not pigmented at all and it so hard to get even application, also it gives a lot of fall out. Its a nightmare to blend it out :(
When it comes to the lighter shade then I have to say it is gorgeous shade with golden glitter in it. It applies more evenly and looks gorgeous all over the lid.
Both shadows stayed on all day with out creasing (I did use eye shadow primer), which I do love. I would have liked the darker shade to be more pigmented and apply better. Then it would have been amazing duo.
Have you tried Vera Wang Simply Vera eye shadow duos before?
Thanks for reading :)
I've never tried Vera Wang makeup before. These shades look lovely! it's a shame that the darker shade doesn't apply well x

The shades look lovely and really quite striking but it is a shame about the darker colour….I do love my darker colours when it comes to a smoky eye! :)

While I love her clothing I've never had much luck with her makeup. :( The colors do look so pretty in the palette.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know Vera Wang made makeup! And I do love purples, but I agree with you, the dark purple could have been more pigmented. :-)

I didn't even know Vera Wang had a makeup line! The lighter shade looks nice but it's a shame about the pigmentation of the darker shade, it's not like it must have been cheap xx

ReplyDeleteOhh what a beautiful eyeshadow palette! I actually never knew Vera Wang had a makeup range...I have a few of her perfumes so hopefully the range is just as amazing as her perfume line :D

I haven't tried them. And based on your post I won't. IT is a must for me..pigmented shadows. This is one thing I spend my money on, it's worth the payoff!
