Hi beauties! Are you all ready for the holidays? I still need to pick up few gifts for Christmas. I probably need do it today, because tomorrow I'll be going away to Turkey. I was thinking to Vlog when I'm there. What do you guys think? Do you wanna see what I'm up to when I'm in Turkey. This time I'll be going around in Istanbul as well :) Let me know in the comments what do you think about it.
I love to wear a winged out liner and I have been using Avon Mega Effect liquid liner to do it. The reason I picked it up is because of the funky looking brush and you always need a new black liquid liner ;)
The liner comes in a black sleek pen form and the name of it is typed with red letters. I like the contrast and also on the picture below you can see the funky brush it has. Its fits to hand perfectly, because its slimmer where you hold it and the surface of it is matte. Because of that, it doesn't feel slippery when you hold it.
The first thing I'm looking in a new liner is the pigmentation and I can say it has a great pigmentation. You can all so see it on picture below.
At first I did have hard time getting a perfect winged out liner with it, because I wasn't used this kind of a brush. Its a stiff one, so you do have more control over the line, but the angles where all wrong for me. No worries I did get a hang of it :D You can see me useing this liner in my latest video.
Lets continue with the review...what else? Yes, the staying on power! It did stay on all day with out going anywhere. I do touch my eye aria sometimes and it has happened that I'm missing one of the wings. It hasn't happened with this liner though. So it is already a winner in my book.
I have sensitive eyes and I didn't experience any irritation with this liquid liner from Avon.
Its the most interesting liner I have ever used (because of the brush :P) and I'm impressed by it :) Its a great liner to try, if you are a beauty lover who likes to try out new things!
Have you tried Avon Mega Effect liquid liner before? What do you think about the brush? Love it, hate it?

Hi!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a dupe for Benefit's eyeliner, that is a great product, but it is a little bit expensive.
This looks good! I didn't know Avon had good eyeliners.

I haven't really tried a lot of Avon stuff but this sure sounds lovely! :)
ReplyDeletei like the brush idea of this. can imagine it being an easy, quick application once you're use to it
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried this yet, but I've tried SuperExtend and I really liked it. I saw that Bourjois and Rimmel came out with similar liners though. I'll probably give those a try since they're easier to get than going through the catalogue-order process at Avon.

@ Senay Faikoglu - Thanks! x
@ mclasb - yeah, the pigmentation is great! x
@ Tasha - Thanks!
@ Beauty Redefined - than you!
@ Nicol - I find its easier to fill in the winged out liner, because of the different angles it has.
