Hi Beauties! I'm a huge fan of liquid lipsticks and when Oriflame cam out with their liquid lipsticks I knew I needed to pick up some of them and try them out. I ordered 2 Oriflame Giordani Gold Iconic Liquid Lipsticks and they are in shade Raspberry Blush and Nude Peach (4.5 ml).
The packaging is simple black with gold writing on it and with golden cap. I love the applicator on these lipsticks and the reason why I like them so much is that when you apply it I feel like the applicator fits perfectly on the lip. It makes it much better to apply the lipstick.
L to R: Raspberry Blush, Nude Peach
The formula of these lipsticks is quite liquid, which I personally don't like. I find that I don't get even application and I have to build the color up, which is another thing I don't like. When it starts to come off it doesn't come off evenly and I don't find that it stays on that long for a liquid lipstick. It also stains your lips, but I find its not even and I personally don't like it. Only thing I like about these lipsticks is the colors and the applicator.
- Nude Peach - is more orange then nude color. Its a lovely color and I would get a lot of use out of it this summer, but applying it is a nightmare :/
- Raspberry Blush - is a gorgeous berry color and it applies better then Nude Peach. I see myself wear this one more just because it applies bit better.
Overall I'm unhappy with these lipsticks and if I would have known before that they don't apply well I would have skip them.
Have you tried Oriflame Giordani Gold Iconic Liquid Lipstick? What do you think?

Thanks for reading! :)
What a shame the application is so bad, they look like really pretty shades!

wow, nude peach is seriously gorgeous! I had never heard of these, but I hate super liquidy liquid lipsticks... if they don't set, they're a mess!

I actually like nude peach, but if it doesn't apply well I will have to look into other liquid lipsticks.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Oriflame! Raspberry blush is such a fun colour but it sucks that it's not even. Patchy lips are definitely not attractive! Though, I do LOVE that black + gold combination in that packaging.

Ohh these look amazing! I was introduced to Oriflame last year and I think they have some great products. These remind me of the YSL Kiss and Blush lip and cheek stains :D

ReplyDeleteNot sure I'm loving these lippies. I can tell they are going to slide RIGHT off your lips...wear off, what have you. Usually the glossier, the less it lasts...you know what I mean?
ReplyDeletei would definetley wear this
