Hi Beauties! I have another FOTD post for you guys and I wanted to use my new Oriflame cream eyeshadow with my e.l.f Long-Lasting Lustrous eyeshadow, which is cream shadow as well. Here is the look I came up with:
I started this look from the eyes and then moved to my face. First thing I did was blend Oriflame The ONE Colour Impact cream shadows in shade Intense Plum on my outer V and I also took it to the crease. I blended it out before adding any other shadows.
L to R: e.l.f Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow, Oriflame The ONE Colour Impact Intense plum, next 2 shadows are from Lorac Mint Edition Platte left side top row (you can see the palette below), next 2 shadows are first shadows from the right (same palette), highlighter from the middle and mint green shadow left down.
When I was done with blending out Intense Plum, I applied all over the lid e.l.f Long-lasting Lustrous eyeshadow (it doesn't have shade on it). I blend it together with Intense Plum, so there is no harsh lines between the two color. After that I applied on top of e.l.f shadow mint green shadows from the Lorac Mint Edition palette. Then I blended some more :) Then I took from Lorac Mint Edition palette darker brown shadow, which has bit of shimmer to it (first shadow from the right bottom). I applied it to the outer V and also took bit of it to the crease. Again I blended everything out. On top of the crease I applied shadow from the Lorac palette which is light matte shadow (second shadow from the top left). I use it to blend everything out, so there is no harsh lines.
Lets move to the lower lash line now :) I used Oriflame cream shadow in Intense Plum on the outer part of the lower lash line. Then I topped it off with a darker brown shadow from the Lorac palette (first shadow from bottom row and from right side). Then I took shadow, which is top of the dark brown shadow to highlight the inner corner and I also took it to the lower lash line. With it I blended everything out.
Then I took my L'Oreal Gel Intense eyeliner in shade Pure Black to line my eyes and I flicked it out for more dramatic look :) I also lined my upper water line with Physicians Formula black liner from the Nude Eyes trio. Time to move to mascara :) For this look I used 2 different mascaras again, I first used my loved Benefit they're Real! mascara and I topped it with Avon Aero Volume mascara. I did like this 2 time, so all together I have 4 coats of mascara on my lashes.
Time to move to face :) I stared off with my Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. When my primer is all sink into my skin I move on to my foundation and today I'm using new to me foundation from Avon. Its their Extra Lasting foundation and I have it in shade Ivory. It gives a great coverage and stays on a long time, so far I'm liking it. When this is done and set in I move on to concealer and I'm using Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer (don't know the shade of it, sorry) to conceal my under eye area and few pimples I have. After that I move to my brows and first I fill them in with my Too Faced brow pencil in shade Brown-y. Then I go in with my Benefit gimme BROW fiber gel in shade medium/deep. When my brows are done I'll be doing little highlighting and for that I use my Artdeco Perfect Teint Illuminator in shade 1. I use it under my eyes, on top of my nose and also under my brows. I also use under my brow cream color shadow from Lorac palette (first shadow from the top right) to highlight. To seal in my foundation and concealer I use L'Oreal Infallible 24H powder foundation in shade 123 Warm Vanilla.
To warm up my complexion I used Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer in shade medium/deep matte. It give very natural bronze look to the skin and I like to contour my face with it (under the cheek bones, on the temples and around my forehead).
On my cheeks I'm wearing Clinique Cheek Pop in shade of 03 Berry Pop. I was so surprised how pigmented it was when I first applied it. It give lovely flush to the cheeks.
I'm wearing on my lips Avon Ultra Color lipstick in shade Sunny Pink. Its a gorgeous peachy color lipstick, which fits well with this look.
Hope you guys liked this look and see you in my next post, which going to be a review.
