Review: Pastel Pro Fashion Stardust Highlighter

Hi loves, I'm happy to share with you guys a greta highlighter, which is also affordable. It's Pastel Pro Fashion Stardust Highlighter in shade Vega 320 (8g). I picked it up when I was in Turkey and I have to say I'l really impressed with the quality. It was ₺32.80, which is around 5 euros. I haven't seen this brand anywhere else other then in Turkey. This highlighter is available in 3 different shades and this is the lightest shade available. The brand is also cruelty free.

The highlighter comes in a sleek red compact and has stars on it. I feel they have really thought about everything the name, packaging and of course the inside of it. It contains a mirror and a beautiful highlighter. I love is has starts on it. It's so beautifully presented, specially considering the price point. This product is lightly fragranced, if you don't like scented beauty products, it might not be for you.

The shade I have is beautiful light champagne shade. It's the perfect shade for my pale skin tone. It's pigmented, blends into the skin easily and gives me beautiful glow that last's all day. I can build it up for more intense glow or have something lighter for every day. I love the fact I can use it any occasion.

It's a brilliant highlighter with great price point. I love the brand and hopefully they find a way to Netherlands as well.

What's your favorite highlighter at the moment?

Review: Beauty Blender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation + Opal Essence Serum Primer

Hi loves, how was everyones weekend? I had my first advance makeup lesson in Art of Colors and it was so much fun. Today's post is on Beauty Blender Bounce Liquid Whip Long  Wear Foundation in shade 1.10N (30ml) and the  Opal Essence Serum Primer (30ml). I picked up both items when I was in Finland. Unfortunately it's little bit too light for me and the one shade darker was too dark, so I ended up getting this one and I do have another foundation I can mix it with, which is bit too dark for me.

Their Opal Essence Serum Primer comes in a squeeze tube and it's easy to get just a right amount of product out. But the packaging does remind me of tube of glue.

This primer is deeply hydrating and is formulated with a powerful blend of botanical extracts. They claims it will give the skin dewiness without looking oily or creasy. It's meant for dull or dry skin type. It also claims to improve skin's appearance over time.

I have used it on and off months and I haven't noticed any improvements in my skin. But I do want to mention my skin is in very good condition and I take very, very good care of it. I do like the finish it gives my skin and the foundation blends into the skin really nicely. I feel under the full coverage foundation it gives life to the complexion and overall brighter look. I really love it!

Down below you can see the swatch (on the left) and how it looks on skin when blended out (on the right). I really do like the effect it gives my skin and it's perfect for the colder months. I have usually oily skin, but on winter I can pull off these type of products and I love it.

Let's talk about the foundation now and I have been using their Bounce Liquid Whip Long  Wear Foundation together with the primer. They make a great combo, but I have to say this foundation is not my favorite. It's also not a bad one. It comes in 40 different shades, but there is not a right shade for me. The shade 1.10N is too light for me and too cool. One shade up was too dark for me, but thankfully I have a foundation I can mix it together to get a perfect match.

The formula of the foundation is described as light as air and has a whipped mousse formula. It has semi matte finishing and it claims not to mask the skin's radiance. They also say the packaging is innovative, because of the dent in the front where the small nozzle is. In my oppinion it just get dirty and I personally still pump the foundation on my hand and then apply it with beauty blender on my face. It blends in to the skin easily and it works very well with beaut blender.

On the left you can see the swatch and the difference doesn't look bad at all, but do watch the demo down below. You'll see how it looks on my skin and the reality is not cute. When I apply all my other complexion products on my face it's okay, but I did have a bit of a shock when I saw it on the few finder. I got even paler then I actually am, if that's even possible. I need to mix it with another foundation that's darker to get my perfect shade.

I have oily skin type and I find this foundation doesn't last well in my t-zone. I lost coverage around my nose area and in the end of the day I didn't have any foundation left there. I think it's a better foundation for beauties with normal to dry skin type. I'll use this foundation up, but I wont repurchase it.

Down below you can see the demo part and please don't be shocked when you see me. This foundation makes me paler, then I am.

Have you tried this foundation?

Review: L'Oreal Infaillible More Than Concealer | 324 Oatmeal

Hi loves, how are you all doing? Today's blog post is on drugstore concealer. I picked up few months about L'Oreal Infaillible  More Than Concealer in shade 324 Oatmeal. This concealer is available in 12 shades.

This concealer comes in a chubby tube kind of packaging and has the shade name on the cap, which I like. The concealer comes with a huge applicator and reminds me of the Tarte one (I still haven't tried it). I personally don't like it, because it picks up too much product.

It has a full coverage and claims to cover up dark circles and last 24 hours. It gives matte finish and I find the formula to be drying for the under eye area. They say it can be used as a concealer, foundation and it can even be used for contour and highlighting. I have used it only as a concealer and I find the formula very drying. It gives me full coverage, but I dries my under eye area out and other parts of my face it wants to become cakey, specially around the nose area.

The shade matches me perfectly and blends into the skin easily and becomes one with it. Like I mentioned before I find it too drying for my liking and also heavy, which I can put up, because of the full coverage. But I can't deal with dry under eye area. I try to apply it less and it still made my under eye area dry. I also noticed it got cakey around my nose area through out the day. It looked so noticeable and I tried to apply it with a brush and beauty blender.

With heavy heart I have to say this concealer is not for me. I don't have dark circles under my eye, so I don't need this heavy concealer. Also I didn't like how cakey it looked on me when I applied it around the nose area. For me it's a hard pass.

Whats your favorite concealer?

Review: Pixi Beauty Liquid Fairy Lights

Hi loves, today I'm happy to share 2 new Pixi Beauty Liquid Fairy Lights in shade Lagoon and Pixi Green (5g). These have been out for sometime, but they are new to me. I love the original ones Pixi sent as PR,, so much that I went out and got the 2 other shades. I also love these are green and we all know how obsessed I have been with green eyeshadows from last year. I can't get enough and it makes my eyes look amazing too, which is added bonus.

The come in a clear tube and has mint green caps. I love their packaging, it's simple and stylish. I also love the fact I can see the shades I have. They do have flat doe foot applicator. I use it to add bit of product and then pat it in with a finger tip. Sometimes I use a brush to pick up some product, if I want more precise application.

I have to say the swatches are not doing justice to these liquid eyeshadows, thats my bad. On top of another eyeshadow these look amazing. These are so full of sparkle. They just bring my eye look to another level. I did a look using the shade Pixi Green and it looks in my opinion so beautiful. You can check it out here. It was so easy to blend out and very fuss free to use. Also these stay on all day and doesn't flake and make me look like some kind of glitter ball.

I'm so, so happy I picked these up and I find their makeup products are sometimes overlooked. Hands down I haven't used their makeup or skincare product and not liked it. They bring their A game every time and I can't be more happy with their products. If you are interested checking out their Liquid Fairy Lights, you can find it here.

Flawless skin with Jumiso

Hi loves, I'm happy to share my thoughts on Jumiso skincare products. They where kind enough to send me their Yes, I am Toner (125ml, €22.-), All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial serum (30ml, €27.-) and Have a Good Cream (50g, €26.-). I want to say huge thank you to Jumiso for the gift. I give you guys a spoiler, I have been loving all 3 products ;) As always my thoughts on all the products are 100% my own.

Let's start with the Yes, I am Toner and it has AHA 5%, fits all skin types, is pore refining and alcohol free. AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is a great exfoliant and takes care of all dead skin cells. It's not recommended to use after face scrub. It might be too much for for the skin and can cause irritation. It also can cause irritation if used together with products based on retinol (vitamin A and C). And always apply sunscreen when using this toner.

I have been using it every morning and evening after I have cleansed the skin. In the mornings I wash my face with water and in the evenings I do double cleanse and then go in with this bad boy. I have used it about 2 weeks and I already see changes in my skin. There are very few products that give me wow effect and this toner is one of these products.

Because of this product my skin is even more smooth, then before. My pores have noticeably shrink, which I didn't think was possible. This is definetly my new holy grail must have toner that I will buy end of time. It is bit pricy, specially in the Netherlands, but I can go to store and pick it up. I like I don't need to order it online. It is cheaper there, but it's always a chance I end up paying duty taxes and I really don't want to do that and it's faster.

I got to try their All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum. It comes in a see through orange glass bottle and has a dropper. This serum is non water based and claims to brighten up the skin. It contains 81.14% vitamin tree extract and it contains various vitamin complexes like A, B, D, E, K and other ingredients that nourish the skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica extract (relives inflammation and soothes), chamomile flower extract (helps to keep the skin healthy and balanced).

I have been using this serum in the morning and evening. It feels thicker and there is no noticeable scent to it. The formula doesn't feel oily. It's very light and sinks into the skin instantly. It feels sticky few seconds, but it passes fast and once I have applied my cream I don't feel any stickiness. I also like their formula is vegan friendly.

On the left you can see how the serum looks. Like I said it's kind of thicker, but it doesn't feel heavy at all. I like how it makes my skin feel more balanced and brighter. I haven't noticed huge difference and I did use before vitamin C serum, which was also brightening. So it does keep my skin nice and bright. I would consider repurchasing once I have used up my other brightening serums. I have been hoarding brightening serums, so I have lot to go through.

Next we are going to talk about Have a Good Cream, which comes in a little plastic jar. It's deeply hydrating cream and is formulated with snail slime and centella asiatica extract. These help to sooth sensitive and irritated skin. Cebtella also helps to remove pigmentation and blemishes. It improves the skin texture, makes it smooth and provides moisture. The snail slime hydrates the skin and improves elasticity. It helps to fight against signs of aging.

There is a slight lemon scent to the cream and the texture of it is very light and I love using it in the mornings. In the evenings I want something thicker or I would apply after the cream facial beauty oil.

It sinks into my skin fast and leaves it instantly hydrated, soft and plump. I find this cream to be very effective and I enjoy the light formula. It's going to be my summer go to cream. I can't handle thick creams when the weather is hot.

I have to say I'm impressed by this brand. To be honest I haven't met a kbeauty brand I didn't like. I see myself definetly repurchasing the toner and the cream. I'm not sure about the serum, maybe when I finish all the other serums in my collection I'll buy it. If you are based in Europe you can check out there products here. And for beauties overseas, you can find it here.

Review: Pixi Beauty + Heart Defensor Eye ♥ Palette Double Tap

Hi loves, today's review is on gorgeous eye shadow palette from Pixi Beauty. It's their Eye ♥ Palette Double Tap and it is a collab with Heart Defensor

The palette comes in a sleek packaging and has clear lid with the brands and Heart Defensor name on it. I love I'm able to see the shadows in the palette. This eye shadow contains beautiful warm tone nudes. These eyeshadows are infused with vitamin E and help to improve skin elasticity.

The palette contains 4 mattes and 4 shimmery eye shadows. I like these are all great shades for everyday wear and has one brighter pinky coral, so I can add pop of color to my look.

The formula of the eyeshadows feel silky smooth to the touch and blend out like a dream. I'm always excited when Pixi Beauty comes out with a new palette, because their eyeshadow formula is pleasure to use.

On the left you can see the swatches. I started with the darkest shades and worked to the lighter shades. As you guys can see the pigmentation of their eye shadows is amazing. This is beautiful palette and I have created many gorgeous looks with it. It's so easy to work with it and the eyeshadows last on me all day without creasing or fading. And yes I always wear eyeshadow primer under every look. They always impress me with the quality of their products.

I'm so thankful for Pixi Beauty for sending me this palette. It's so stunning and their eyeshadow formula is just brilliant. You can check this palette out here, it's £18.00.

Review: Getting Pretty with Unicorn Cosmetics

Hi loves, today's review is on Unicorn Cosmetics and they where kind enough to send me few of their things to try, which I'm really thankful. All my thoughts on their products are 100% my own.

They sent me their Beauty Egg (€6.00), Delphie Mermaid Brush (€21.00), Lilu Mermaid Brush (€21.00), Lemon Meringue Unicorn Lashes (€12.00), Peachy Pie Unicorn Lashes (these are at the moment sold out).

Let's start with their makeup brushes and I have to say these look so beautiful! I have never own anything so unique and these brushes are for sale at the moment for €7.00.

Lilu Mermaid Brush is a tapered foundation/contour brush. I have been using it only as a contouring brush and it works so well. Their brushes are vegan and it's the handle is hand sprayed, which makes the brushes unique and not the same. The brush is made from made from synthetic taklon.

The Delphie Mermaid Brush is from the same range of brushes and Lilu and it's the Mermaid Squad. It's an angled blusher/bronzer brush and I have used as my powder brush. I like it's angled, which makes applying the powder under the eye area so easy. I need to try it as bronzer/blush brush.

I'm supper happy to have these beautiful brushes in my collection. I like these have flexible handles and these are cruelty free and vegan. I already have my eye on their other brush sets and they have crazy discounts going on, which you can check out here.

I'm always super excited to try out a new makeup sponges, which I can wet. The Unicorn Cosmetics Beauty Egg is the closes dupe to the beauty blender in my oppinion. I like to use it damp, which gives me flawless looking makeup application. One side of it is flat and I like it has a pointed tip, so I can get easily to the under eye area. I love how soft it is and it makes blending out my foundation so much easier and it doesn't brake the bank.

Let's move on to the lashes and I was so excited to get their lashes. Lately I have been all about false lashes. They just give you that extra something and on pictures it's just must, also when I film videos for my YouTube. Like I mentioned before I got send 2 styles: Peachy Pie and Lemon Meringue. Both pairs are from the 3D Mink Lash Collection and when I take good care of them I can use these lashes 10-15 times. They do recommend using their lash glue, which I don't have. I use H&M lash glue and it works well for me. I also like on their page they say, if the lash style fits your eye shape. I think it's so important to get the right style for your eye shape.

  • Peachy Pie - is their newer style of lashes and these have dramatic edge. I found these where easy to apply and they looked beautiful. You can see down below how both of styles look on me.
  • Lemon Meringue - is my favorite style out of the 2. It's with whispy peaks and fluttery ends. These add so much drama to the eyes. I can't get enough!

I'm so happy with my new Unicorn Cosmetics 3D Mink Unicorn Lashes. I'm so thankful the brand was willing to send me these and I think they just got themselves a new loyal customer, because these lashes are absolutely  amazing. You can check their 3D Mink Unicorn Lash range out here.
