Review: Myali Beauty Rustic Garden

Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Today I'm happy to share Rustic Garden pigment box from indie makeup brand Myali Beauty. The box contains 8 pigments and they are all different shade of green :)

It's my first time trying Myali Beauty and I'm so excited to try this set out. I picked it up when they had Black Friday sale. The set contains 8 loose pigments from bright greens to more earth green tones. I had this set in my wish list for sometime when I finally picked it up and they delivered it fast (they are UK based brand).

These are beautiful pigmented shade and come in a little jars. There is no shifter in it, so it can be messy to use. It's part of using the loose pigments and, thats why I do like to use sticky primer under them to get better application. It also makes life easier and I get better result. I wet my brush to pick up the product.

On the left you can see how the pigment looks with out the lid on. Unfortunately there is no sifter, but it doesn't bother me too much, because its worth the mess  and I always do my eye makeup first and then the base.

The color pay off is jus insane (you can see it on the pictures below) and I didn't experience any creasing or fading through out the day. Also these pigments didn't irritate or bother my eyes in any way. These pigments can stain the skin, so be aware of it. And it's because of the formula is vegan. Down below you can find the full ingredient list.

Unfortunately these pigments don't have a name. There is a number code below, but I didn't mark them, because it's only sold as a set, so you would end up with all the colors anyway. I applied these on a wet skin and it's kind of how I would use these on my eyes as well, instead I would use something like NYX Glitter Primer.

I absolutely love the colors in this set. There are so many different shades of green lime green, apple to moss green. I really have had fun with this set and I'm still crazy about green eyeshadow. I don't think I have any of these colors in my collection, so this was a great edition to my collection.

You can check out this collection for yourself here. At the moment it's sold out, but I hope it will come, because this set is just amazing.

Have you tried Myali Beauty before?

Review: Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette

Hi loves, I hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Today I'm happy to share with you review on Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette (€48.95) and I know it's not that new palette for everyone, but it landed in Douglas in December, so for me it's new ;) I picked it up, because I was panning last year their Gingerbread Spice Palette and I loved it so much and it kind of made me buy the new one.

This palette looks beautiful inside out. It comes in a tin packaging and closes magnetically. Inside there is a nice size mirror and 28 eyeshadows from mattes, shimmers to metallics. I love how many different finishes this palette has and I love the delicious warm tones and also the purples. It makes a beautiful combination and I can create many beautiful looks with it.

The eyeshadows are absolutely beautiful and what you expect from Too Faced. I love their mattes, shimmers and the chunky metallics. These are all so pigmented and has been pleasure to use. I did experience fall out, specially with the more chunky metallic shades. It doesn't bother me too much, because of I like to do my eye look before and I don't have to worry about the fall out. These blended out easily and they don't irritate my eyes. Also these shadows lasted all day on me with out creasing or fading. I do use eyeshadow primer under all my eye looks and I think it always helps to keep the shadows vivd all day.

Now let's look at the swatches of all the shadows. They really do look amazing and so pigmented. Which is your favorite shade from this palette?

  • Whipped Cream - is a matte cream shade with hint of pink to it. It's not ideal highlighting shade for me, but I do like to use it as a lid color.
  • Crisp - is a beautiful rose gold shimmer. It's so beautiful all over the lid.
  • Fall for it - is a matte darker peach shade.
  • Pumpkin Spice - is a matte darker yellow.
  • Ginger Spice - is a matte burned orange brown.
  • Cocoa Drizzle - is a matte dark brown.
  • Fall Vibes - is a metallic golden green. It's so beautiful!
  • Sweet Pie - is a matte olive green
  • Falling for you - is a darker golden green shimmer, but it's darker then Fall Vibes
  • Spice, Spice Baby - is a matte warm tone brown with hint of reddish in it.

  • You Spicy - is a matte darker pink.
  • Warm & Cozy - is a matte warm tone darkest brown in the palette.
  • Oh My Gourd - is a metallic light pink.
  • A La Mode - is a matte darker nude.
  • Wanna Piece of me? - is a metallic taupe. It's so beautiful shade!
  • Love You a Latte - is a matte mauve. On the swatch it looks little bit warmer then it really is.
  • PSL & Chill - is a metallic purple with blue sheen to it. It looks so beautiful!
  • Spice of Life - is a matte cool tone purple.

In the beginning I didn't love this palette so much, but now I'm in love. I can create so many beautiful looks with it for day time and also smoky evening looks. I'm so in love and can't wait to get more use out of it.

Which is your favorite Too Faced Palette?

Review: Avon Creme Legend Lipsticks

Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Today I have for you review on Avon Creme Legend Lipsticks and I have 3 shades: Wow, Red Carpet and Strut (3.6g, €10.-). They have all together 10 shades available.

These lipsticks come in a beautiful golden packaging and the lipsticks themselves have teardrop shaped tip, which helps to get precise application.  The formula contains ultra hydrating primer, which helps to lock in the moisture and helps to keep the lips smoother and softer.

These are richly pigmented lipsticks, that glide on like a dream and feels supper comfortable on my lips. I have been testing out these lipsticks for months and I really have been enjoying wearing them on the colder months. I feel these don't dry out my lips, like liquid lipsticks do. One thing I do is, I apply lip liner under the lipsticks, because it's a creamy formula and I have bold colors. I'm just afraid it will go outside of my lip lines and no one needs it, that's why I always apply lip liner under all my creamy lipsticks.

Now let's check out the shades I got. I'm really happy with the choices I made regarding these lip colors. They are perfect for the winter season :) And the first shade is called Strut and is so unique shade. It reminds me of mauve with hint of red in it. I don't know if it makes any sense to you guys, but it's beautiful shade to wear this time of the year. You can see the close up of the lipstick and the shade down below

The next shade I have is called Red Carpet and it's beautiful red. I love wearing red this time of the year and this is just perfect shade for this season. You can see the close up of the lipstick above and also the swatch of it.

Next shade is called Wow and it's a bright pink and I need a shade like this in my life, specially when I get winter blues. It makes me happy and lifts my mood. You can see the swatch and the close up of the lipstick down below. Some reason on the picture it doesn't come through true to color. On both pictures the lipsticks and swatch come cross darker, then in real life.

Now let's talk about the staying power. These lipsticks don't last as long as my liquid lipsticks, because it's a creamy formula and is more comfortable to wear. Whenever I use these lipsticks I have noticed I need to reapply it couple of times a day. I don't mind it too much and I also like when these fade they stain the lips a bit, so I still have some color on the lips, even if I don't want to reapply it.

I'm so happy I picked these lipsticks up. It has been so fun to wear these bright colors and these make me want to wear my other bullet lipsticks and step away from the liquid lipsticks.

What kind of lipsticks you like to wear on winter?

Review: Viseart Dark Edit Palette

Hi loves, hope you are all doing good and staying safe. Today I have for you a review on Viseart Dark Edit Palette (12g, €33.50) and it's my first time testing out their eyeshadow formula.

This Viseart palette comes in a matte purple cardboard packaging and it closes magnetically. Inside there is a mirror and 12 eyeshadows: 8 mattes and  4 metallics. I'm always happy to see so many matte eyeshadows and their eyeshadows are so pigmented. I do have to say they didn't swatch so well, but they blended out easily and where true to color.

One thing I noticed when I tested this palette out was I didn't have transition shade. Every time I use this palette I need to use another palette with it, which doesn't bother me too much, because I have plenty of these type of shades.

The colors this palette contains are beautiful and bold. I love how pigmented these shadows are and it was pleasure to create looks with it.

There are some things I didn't like about this palette, but these are not deal breakers for me. I did get fall out, but it's not too big of an issue for me, because I do my eyes before the base. I don't like the shadow names are on sleeve the palette was in and not on the palette itself. Now I need to keep it, so I know what shade is what.

Let's talk about the staying power of these beautiful shades. As always I used these on top of an eyeshadow primer. These lasted on my eyes all day with out fading or creasing. And the shades are so vivid!

  • Toffee - is a matte warm matte.
  • Sienna  - is a matte burnt dark red. It's beautiful shade to darken up any look.
  • Sepia - is a matte brik red.
  • Persimmon - is a matte bright orangery red. It's one of my favorites from this palette. I love this type of shades.
  • Olive - is a mette olive green
  • Beaujolais - is a matte dark plum. I always tipped into this look when I played with purples and need to darken up my look.
  • Lavender - is a matte electric purple. It's so pretty and vivid shade.
  • Foret - is a matte dark navy blue.
  • Absinthe - is a rich emerald with shimmer finish.
  • Calypso - is a metallic bright magenta. It looks stunning all over the lid.
  • Burnished Copper - is a metallic copper. It's so pigmented and alive shade.
  • Bullion - is a metallic yellow gold.

I'm really happy with this palette and I'm so happy I picked it up. The shadows are crazy pigmented and I have created many beautiful looks with it. I'm excited to try more from Viseart. You can check Viseart Dark Edit out here.

Have you tried Viseart before?

Review: Oriflame Magnetista Eua de Parfum

Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I'm so happy you stopped by my blog and today I have a review on fragrance. I don't review scent too often on this blog, because it's hard to describe it and it's so personal. I try to do my best and one of the reasons I want to share Oriflame Magnetista Eua de Parfum(50ml, €62.00),  because it smells so good :)

This parfum comes in a stylish glass bottle and has a beautiful golden cap. It feels so luxurious and it doesn't look or feel like it's catalog parfume. I feel Oriflame has really stepped up the game and delivers beautiful, high quality products.

What makes this fragrance special is the claim, that it's first fragrance proven by neuroscience to make you more attractive to men. I have worn it for months and I haven't noticed anything. It's also true I haven't been out or met anyone. My husband has found me attractive, but I'm not sure it's the fragrance

Let's talk about the most important thing, the scent of it. It's a floral sweet scent with bit of smokiness to it with hint of spice.

Top Notes: Dewy Neroli Blossom, Pink Pepper and Black Currant.

Middle NotesPassion Flower, Jasmine and Peach Blossom.

Base NotesSandalwood, Vanilla and Musk.

I didn't expect much from the staying power from this fragrance, but it surprise me again. It lasts on my skin and cloths all day and I smell it through out the day, which I really like. I hate when a parfum just disappears through out the day.

I'm so impressed with this gem and I'm so excited to discover more of their fragrances. if you are interested you can check it out here.

What is your favorite fragrance at the moment?

Review: Avon Metallic Reign Liquid Eye Shadow

Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Lately I have wanted to use more of my liquid eyeshadows and also try new ones. That's how I came to own 3 Avon Metallic Reign Liquid Eye Shadows and I have shades Royal Rose, Peach Princess and Majestic Mulberry (6ml,9.- euros). All together there is 7 shades available.

These come in a clear tube with black caps, which has shimmer over it. The tubes are see through, which I like. It always nice to see what shades I have without opening it up. On the tubes there is product and the brands name on it.  These also come with classical doe foot applicator. And these have no scent to them, which is another plus in my eyes :)

The 3 shades I picked are all gorgeous and apply beautifully. I like to use these all over the lid as a base and then apply other powder shadows. These are pigmented and easy to work with. I can build the color up and these don't make the texture come out on the lids, which some liquid eyeshadows can do, specially when you build the color up. These blend out well and I like to use my finger tip to do it.

I have noticed when I use these as my base I don't need any eyeshadow primer. All my other shadows stay on it flawlessly with out creasing or fading through out the day. It's an extra plus, which I didn't expect. I love it when beauty products surprise me in a good way.
On the left you can see all 3 shades swatched. My favorites are the Royal Rose and Peach Princess. These are easiest to work and I always get amazing result. With Majestic Mulberry is bit trickier to use, because I need to build it up to get the desired result. Overall I'm happy with these and can't wait to get more use out of them in the future.

Do you like using liquid eyeshadows?

Review: Laroc Pro The Bakery Box

Hi loves, hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Today I have a review on a new palette in my life. I got it in the Tribe Beauty subscription box and I thought I share my experience with you. It's the Laroc Pro The Bakery Box. And it's my first palette from them. I have never tried the brand before, so I was super excited to test this baby out.

It comes in a cardboard packaging and has a clear lid. Inside there is 24 eyeshadows and 2 highlighting powders.

Let's start with the highlighting powders. Both highlighters feel so buttery to the touch and look beautiful on my cheek bones. These blend out so well and become one with a skin and I always apply my highlighter before my blush. That way I know I don't have a line of highlighter and everything is blended out and become one.

Down below you can see the swatch of the highlighters. Sugar Cookie is a beautiful golden champagne highlighter, which looks beautiful on many skin tones. It's my favorite out of the two, because I can wear it with so many different looks. Eton Mess is a pinky highlighter and I feel like it's not as flattering on me and I have to wear more of a pinky blush to pull it off.

This palette has a very warm tone color story, which is perfect for more summer days and I see myself loving this palette on autumn as well. There is 6 shimmers and 18 mattes, which I love. I'm all about that matte eyeshadow life ;) The simmers are pigmented, but I feel they are all very similar shades. I feel they could have given more variety with the simmers. I have no complains with the mattes. They are soft to the touch and blend out like a dream. I didn't have any issues working with this palette. All the looks I have been doing with it came out so well. I do want to mention I experienced bit of fall out with some of the shadows.

Let's talk about the staying power. I have used these with eyeshadows primer and I always use eye primer under all my eye looks. It's very rear when I don't apply a primer. These lasted on my lids very well. I didn't experience any creasy or fading through out the day.

Now lets see the swatches! I do want to say some of the shadows didn't swatch as well, but on my lids they worked out well.

  • Pavlova - is a beautiful intense matte peach with matte finish. I love using it in the crease to warm it up.
  • Butter Pecan - is a matte orange. It's so beautiful shade!
  • Hazelnut - is a beautiful matte red.
  • Oatmeal - is a shimmery darker champagne shade. Love using it all over the lid.
  • Macaroon - is a matte hot pink. This shade just screams summer to me
  • Pudding - is a medium tone matte brown. On the swatch it is patchy, but on the eyes I didn't have the same problem.
  • Honey - is a white shimmer with pink sparkle. I don't use this type of shades a lot.
  • Banoffee - is a matte orange yellow. It's so beautiful fun eye shadow.
  • Angel Food - is a lighter peachy nude with shimmer finish. It's similar to Oatmeal, but it's more red, then angel food.
  • Cheesecake - is a matte light warm tone brown.
  • Frosting - is a matte darker peachy shade.
  • Whipped Cream - is a shimmery white shade with pinks sheen to it. It looks identical to Honey when swatched.
  • Pumpkin Pie - is a matte darker orange.
  • Rocky Road - is a matte darker red.
  • Pancakes - is a matte caramel, so pretty to warm up the crease.
  • Marzipan - is a matte mauve. I feel this shade is more to the cooler side and doesn't go with the other warm tone shades.
  • Granola - is matte dark cool tone brown.
  • Maple Syrup - is a shimmery rose gold. It's one of my favorite colors out of this palette.
  • Hot Fudge - is a matte deep chocolate brown. Perfect shade to darken up any look.
  • Birthday Cake - is a shimmery white with pink sheen to it. And yes we have 3 eyeshadows in the palette that are the same. That little bothers me, to be honest.
  • Choc Mousse - is a matte warm tone brown.
  • Jelly - is a matte hot red. It's so pigmented and alive color, love it.

Overall I'm happy with this palette. The quality of the shadows is beautiful and they preform well. My only issue is that some of the shadows are too similar to each other. I would have wanted to see some more fun shimmers. Other then that this palette is gorgeous and you can check it out here.

Have you tried anything from the brand before?

Thank you for watching! xo's
